Lousã is a small town surrounded by the mountains in the heart of Portugal. It is rich in history and people lived here for centuries very sustainably. However, in the last century many people left this region because of hard farming conditions and lack of traveling infrastructure. Luckily, they are returning nowadays and still live here very sustainably, but in a different modern way.
