On a beach near Lisbon, Andreas Noe, a German living in Portugal, having fun with his surfboard. At dusk before leaving, Andreas collects plastic from the beach. During 58 days collecting rubbish from the Portuguese coast, Noe made a documentary “with the aim of raising awareness about plastic pollution and to give a voice to all NGOs”. Andreas was a molecular biologist, but he resigned from his job because “it was impossible to ignore such a serious problem”. He warns that “the most important thing is not the clean-up itself, but to alert society to the problem”.
