Day of bees

In order to educate people on the importance of bees in our enviroment, every year on the 20th of May we celebrate Internartional day of bees.

In Primary school ”Radoje Cizmovic” in Ozrinici, Niksic,  the Day of bees is celebrated with the aim for emphasizing the importance of bees and their role in agriculture production with pollinating, keeping the economical balance, soothing out climate changes as well as their contribution to global biodiversity. Just the same as bees do in their little communities, our students,with the help of their teachers and parents, contributed to this important date. Using different websites in making presentations, quizzes, math assignments for the Day of bees, Art and literature works as well as planting honey plants, they indicated to the importance of improving the conditions for the survival of bees.

”If bees disappeared from the Earth, humans would have about 4 more years of life left”, was an important quote by Albert Einstein. If we don’t change something for the good of bees, we may find ourselves in the situation of realizing the truthfulness of find this quote in a less pleasant way.
