Nineteen girls from St Louise’s Comprehensive College in Belfast investigated the issue of Single-Use Plastic at one of the most famous food and goods market in Belfast. The girls prepared surveys for the public, the vendors and the Council representatives to find out who should be responsible for changes towards a more sustainable and more environmentally friendly market, starting by banning single-use plastic, polystyrene containers and disposable cups. Our young reporters are willing to come back in six months to check on any improvement!
